With AEB's Warehouse Management Solution (WMS), shippers and logistics providers can digitize their processes within the warehouse. The WMS is the core of all operations in logistics, starting from receiving the goods from the supplier or supplier, doing quality inspection and executing the put-away to picking, packing and shipping them out again to the customer. Our WMS helps customers to boost their efficiency, especially in the cold chain and food industry by offering industry best practices as well as flexibility and options to further integrate with automation solutions, such as AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) or AS/RS Systems (Automates storage and retrieval systems). AEBs Warehouse Management system integrates with other systems such as ERP systems via REST APIs or can be used as a stand alone system and it is provided as a service from the AEB Cloud.

What You Offer

As a Software Developer, you have the following qualities;

Technical Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in Angular, Typescript / JavaScript and CSS  
  • Proven experience in dealing with GraphQL and REST web services 
  • Proven experience in web programming with good UI practices. A technical test would be part of the interview process 
  • Having worked with Git/Bitbucket and Jira would be helpful  
  • Passionate in programming and writing good code 
  • Strong documentation and knowledge management skills

 

Education / Work Experience

  • Experience in medium-sized and large IT projects is a plus 
  • Logistics background, especially in Intralogistics, is not required, but gives your application an edge 
  • Successful completion of your studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable education

 

Other Qualities

  • Enthusiasm about tackling even tricky problems. 
  • Process-oriented approach and organizational initiative 
  • Independent fast learner and self-motivated work style 
  • Contact and communication skills in English required. German is a plus\

Responsibilities

Develop new apps for the use within a WMS or customise existing apps according to project specific requirements.

 

In detail, this includes;

  • Regular coordination and participation with AEB’s international development and project teams 
  • Build a local technical knowledge base and expertise of AEB Warehouse Management  
  • Technical analysis 
  • Creative extension of existing applications and processes
  • Extending the UI of existing apps to meet the customers need 
  • Amending the data model in the database 
  • Adjusting the process in BPMN if needed
  • Development of new apps and processes
  • Develop new and exciting apps to meet the customers need in a project
  • Define a new data model in the database for the new apps
  • Create a new process in BPMN to support the business workflow
  • Documentation of the implementation
